Our Providers

Willow Tree Pediatrics was opened and founded by Dr. Heidi Blair in 2018. Dr. Blair has practiced in North Alabama since 1996.

Heidi Blair, MD, FAAP

I grew up in Richmond, VA. I have felt a passion and calling to care for babies from a young age. I feel that God has allowed me success along my journey to be His “hands” to help care for His creation.

I completed undergraduate studies in 1988 at the University of Virginia where I majored in classical studies and minored in biology, graduating in 1992. I particularly loved completing my semester abroad in Rome, Italy. I returned to Richmond for medical school and pediatric residency, completed in 1995.

I moved to Cullman, AL in 1996 and I have practiced pediatrics in several primary care office settings. I have embraced holistic, nutrition, spiritual, chiropractic and other alternative healing avenues along the way.

The final stage in my career began in January 2018 when I opened Willow Tree Pediatrics, envisioning an integrative team approach with nurse practitioners, nurses, and office staff to provide excellent individualized care to patients from birth to young adulthood. Providers partner with parents to make the best decisions for their child. It was important to me for our office to obtain accreditation as a Patient Centered Medical Home, which we achieved in May 2021. I enjoy guiding health through all life’s stages with God as our compass. My favorite part of our office is our saltwater aquarium where we all enjoy the antics of our sea creatures, including Nemo & Dori!

I enjoy quiet time with my husband, 4 grown children, and grandchildren on the farm in Crane Hill. My hobbies have included gymnastics, scuba diving, hiking, traveling, and birdwatching. I am an avid life-long learner, very curious and interested in discovering God’s Truth in and through His Creation.

Sherry Davis, CRNP

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Nursing in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. I graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Oklahoma University in 1998. I enjoyed working in family practice for several years, but when I had the opportunity to work in a pediatric practice, I knew that was where I wanted to stay. I have been blessed to work with children for almost 20 years, and I love that I get to laugh and play every day at work! I enjoy watching our patients grow and developing relationships with their families.

My husband and I moved to Cullman, Alabama from Oklahoma in 2018, to be closer to our daughter, son-in-law, and 3 wonderful grandchildren. We now have 4 grandchildren in Cullman and 1 grandson in North Carolina. God answered prayers, and I was able to start working immediately at Willow Tree Pediatrics with Dr. Blair and the BEST staff. I would like to say I am a gardener, but my thumb is more brown than green, so I guess I like digging in the dirt and being outside. Most of my free time is spent with my grandchildren and I would not have it any other way.

Cindy Hawkins, CRNP

I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993. I furthered my education at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2007 receiving a Masters of Science in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, board certified in Critical Care. Later I obtained my Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011.

I have served patients in various hospitals, urgent care and primary care clinics for almost 30 years. As a native of Cullman and a graduate of Good Hope High School, I am excited to join the Willow Tree family serving this community. I am passionate about providing high quality, compassionate care to each and every one of my patients.  Pediatrics are my love and I’m delighted for the opportunity to care for them along-side this amazing team.

I’ve been married almost as long as I’ve been a nurse and we have an adult son. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, participating in medical missions with Kenya Relief, watching Alabama football and spending time with my family. I am an active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
